We are now fully into the boys basketball season. Tyler is coaching both Brae & Zach's teams...it's hectic, but we wouldn't have it any other way! The boys on both teams are learning so much - Ty is an amazing coach!
Every picture I have of Brae is a little blurry - 'cuz he's ALWAYS moving! He has totally blown us away this season - it's his first year playing basketball, but he's actually REALLY good! Definately the star player on the team - he just totally gets it....when they line up to see the # of the player they are guarding, it is SO funny to watch - the other team all moves around - trying to get away from Brae - none of them want to face him!! Dad's kinda proud :)
Zach's team is really fun to watch - I really think basketball is Zach's sport - he is REALLY good too - and SO tall! We just had to buy him his 2nd pair of basketball shoes of the season - he literally outgrew the pair we bought just a month ago!
Zach's team got to play 2 jamboree games, helps when Dad knows the parks person over the program :) and that he works for a neighboring parks dept. too :) Zach played great - there are 4 other boys on the team that are the anchors along with Zach. It'll be a long season though...Tyler has 10 boys on the team, yet most teams we play are already down to only 7 or 8 boys, having had some quit. Tyler is a great coach, boys & parents love him - so no one ever quits - we can't decide if this is good, or bad, lol. It's hard when he has to play ALL the boys equally, when they are playing a team w/only 7 boys that are all decent players. Tyler & Zach are doing great too together, it is so good for their relationship to have this time together :)
