Connor is a Kindergartner!!!!

So this is how we celebrated.........

Lunch last Friday with his good friend Lacey.......at McDonald's :) ......Can these two get any cuter? He isn't the only Goff boy with a crush on a Kober girl.... (they have 6!).....all beautiful!
...and of course little sister came along!
Sunday we had Stake Conference, and it was short, so we had the rest of the day to spend time as a family........ Ty suggested making Jello popcorn, but he was quickly out voted by the rest of us, and Connor's statement of, "Carmel corn Dad...cuz I start kindergarten tomorrow!!!" put it over the top!
YUM!!!!!!!!!!! Ty makes it SO yummy, nice and gooey!
Monday was his first day, and at our house, any big occasion get's a fun breakfast. Our normal day-to-day breakfasts range from toast/cereal/oatmeal/bagels....... but when it's a birthday or a big event, the person having the special day gets to pick whatever they want!
Connor chose hash browns, scrambled eggs with cheese, & sausage........ (now you know why I only do those once in a while......heart attack on a plate!).........but he loved it! (I do make a big hot breakfast once a week, but those I plan ahead....this was all Connor!)
Zach & Brae with Connor, so excited to "help" him on his first day! All 3 are at the same school this year, it will be the only time this happens.......sigh.......time is going by WAY too fast!
All ready to go!
Waiting at the bus stop..........
Boarding the bus.........did I mention he asked his brothers to sit by him? They rock - looking out for their little brother, it made it easier on me to see him go, knowing they are watching over him!
finding his cubbie.......becuase I followed the bus to school to see him get to class (like every other parent did, I might add!).........
...and his friend :) Lacey..........
All set to start his day..........he's such a big boy now! I did get teary, & stepped out of the classroom so he wouldn't see......composed myself & came back........I am totally missing him! I am SO glad we chose to put him in part-time kindergarten....our district does 3 days on, 2 off, then 2 on, 3 off........ so I'll still have time with him....besides - he has 12 years of going all day, every day - what's the hurry?!?!?

Such cute pictures! I can't believe Conner is in kindergarten! That means my baby will be there in a year. We miss you guys at pre-school. There is only two boys in the class and eight girls!
