This Is The Place

Connor learning how to play Call of Duty with Troy...
We had a few hours before we had to head out to Ogden, so we took Sarah & Megan to lunch with us....Chili's was yummy :)
Then we went to the This is the Place Monument...the girls hadn't been there before either. We had to try to get in 1 touristy thing before we left, and Tyler wanted our kids to see it.  What amazing history there, it's the place where Brigham Young declared that the saints would settle in the Utah Valley. We are forever grateful for the sacrifices the saints made to help grow the Gospel.
Ella was in one of her "stinker" moods, and refused to be in the pictures....ugh.
....unless it was on her terms.
The trees there are planted in memory of each saint who made the trek to this site.
How amazing was it that seagulls of all things miraculously came to the valley & rid the area of the crickets that were destroying the saints crops!
I am so lucky to be these boys Mom.  They are amazing, strong, & great examples. I love them!

Just to prove I was there, lol..Brae & I.
..and when you take a pic with one child...another always wants a turn! Love you Zach!
Back at Bob & Char's house....the kids played in the snow outback & loved the sling-shot...while we packed up the car.
If the boys can do it, so can Ella :)
Sweet Fuhriman girls! Connor, Zach, Megan, Ella, Sarah, Nadiya, Braeden.
Leaving the beautiful Mountains...now onto Ogden!
