Friday the 13th....

We started off the day with our Valentines tradition - heart shaped waffles. Normally I would do this on the actual holiday, but since I had the Woodworth kids at our house, I thought they'd get a kick out of them too...and the big kids had their valentine parties at school that day....so it fit.

After school, Zach's basketball team faced off against the same team from earlier in the week.....
Zach played great, giving the team 3 points throughout the game & man does he play hard! The team just had an off night, they weren't making their shots....ending with their first loss of the season. The final score was 19-29...we had one of the horrible officials from earlier in the season & he literally handed the other team 8 of their points by not calling blatant fouls on the other team (in which they immediately made a shot right after)....but in the end, we would have still lost by 2 points. Oh well, it was probably a good experience for the team - they'll play harder next time!

After the game, we got a sitter, (actually 2 for the price of 1!) and met Janna & Drew for a movie. Their daughter Haley was spending the night at Jessica's, so they both came over to babysit/hangout/watch movies while our kids slept....had to be the easiest babysitting job ever! They are such cute girls....we had made the plans so last minute, that I didn't remember to move a load of clean laundry off of the chair in the family room before we picked them up.

We don't go out often without the kids, so that was a fun treat! We saw "Taken"......we went to a late show & were all worried we fall asleep, but NOPE! That movie keeps you on the edge of your seat! Janna & I jumped when the girl was grabbed!

When we came home they had put kids toys away & were both asleep on the couch! I didn't realize it until I'd taken them home at the end of the night, that they had folded all the clothes I had left on the chair! SOOOO sweet, totally not expected or asked of them, but what a treat! This was the first time they had babysat for us....our other babysitters definitely have competition now!
