Ella's actual birthday is February 17th, so we met Daddy for lunch at Red Robin. All decked out in shamrocks....Ella looks really good in green!
Love her hair! I actually bought these bow/clips to take apart & make little clips, but even though they're big, they look cute on her!
So Ella has this tendancy to point at things with her middle finger....of course she has no idea what she's doing & we've tried to get her to do it with ANY other finger...but today she did it again...she was enjoying her chick strips & fries & LOVES to dip things in ranch & 'dip-it' (ketchup)....so she decided to "show Mommy" & held up her middle finger covered in 'dip-it' for me to see...... to anyone else it looked like she was 'flipping me the bird' - you know what that is now, right Carly? :) It was the funniest thing we'd ever seen her do! Tyler almost chocked on his lunch we laughed so hard! Here she is pointing at balloons, having just put that finger down...

Ella was so used to saying "cheese!" when we'd say her name, since we had been taking so many pics to remember this birthday, that she even said it here, while she was eating her chicken!
She really enjoyed being sung to at Red Robin....
....and blew out the candle all by herself!....
She was so proud of herself!
The ice cream was yummy - she shared her cherry with Brae, who discovered he loved them (of course, what food doesn't he like?)
