Blessings

I am so excited! Ella turned 2 in February, but we still have her sleeping in her crib. Partly because I am not ready for the tornado she will cause when she has freedom to get out of her bed on her own, & partly because I'm not ready for her to be a big girl yet. She's our baby, our last in diapers (hopefully that will end soon too). So slowly I have been getting things for her 'big girl room', today we hit the jackpot!
Ella has a tiny room, so I only want a headboard to give the room the extra space that a footboard would have taken up. We had to go all the way to Snohomish for her Sleighbed Headboard, but for $70, I think we got a great deal! It's solid wood & in perfect condition! You gotta love CraigsList! The other headboard I had picked out at Costco was still $199, so we saved a ton & this is nicer! Our great friends the Theriaults offered to keep all our kids while we went up there, so we took them up on it! They are awesome! The kids had a blast, playing hide-n-seek, being asked by a neighbor to "scream a little softer", eat cookies from Haley & drink smoothies from Nate...they were in big kid heaven! We love you guys - thank you so much! I bought Ella's quilt at PBK, and had used my preschool paycheck for it....not something we would usually buy, but when I took on the 2nd day of teaching, Tyler told me to use that money on things I wanted, that it was seperate from our budget - I love him! And I am SO grateful for Cindy Goodner for hiring me to help teach, & for Cyndi & Rachelle that help me with not only my kids, but the Woodworth kids when I teach! You guys ROCK! I have secretly wanted this quilt forever....so it was NOT an impulse buy! This is the table lamp style night light from Ikea that Crystal & I bought while we waited for our hubbies to be done with their scavenger hunt....Ella is already playing with it, even though it's on her play table, and not a nightstand (still have to get that...)
This flower will mount on her wall & light up like the table lamp...the pink sheets are from Cyndi (& Kylee), Kylee hasn't used them & they match the quilt perfectly!!! We are truly blessed with great friends! Thank you everyone! Ella's room is coming together in part because of you! If I don't say it enough - I really appreciate you all! Love you guys! Now we just need to paint her room (I'm thinking a soft yellow) & get her a matress & boxspring...
