Feeling Better........I Wish!

So I've been bad about updating our blog, but if you had been in our house the past couple of weeks, you'd understand! After having Ella in the ER, we thought we were on the mend...see her here, on Sunday the 8th....playing, being goofy, giving us attitude...everything we love about Ella... So after 3 days of no puke, we thought we were out of the woods! My friend Cyndi usually watches Ella during preschool, but on Tuesday, her kids had the stomach flu (sorry we shared it Cyndi!).....and Rachelle was coming to preschool with Connor (I'll make another post about preschool)& I to check it out (she's my back-up to watch Ella when Cyndi can't).....so new plan! My friend Crystal watched her (thanks Crystal!!).....Ella was excited - she got to play with her friend Alexis & didn't want to leave when I picked her up.
Well, I decided since we'd been cooped up in the house for almost a week, we needed to get a few things from Walmart....and what better time when I only had 2 kids with me (the Woodworths were sick too, so I wasn't watching them on Tuesday). Connor & Ella were being so good, so we went to McD's in Walmart....ordered our food, found our table....and then it happened.........what every mother fears....dreads! Ella puked all over the floor! Now keep in mind that the McDonald's was packed! I felt so bad for Ella, bad for the people near us who just lost their appetite....it was awful. Needless to say, we headed home.
That was a VERY long night.....Ella was up late, refusing to sleep, and once she did, she threw up in her crib.....ugh........Tyler stayed up with her so I could get some sleep (I was still sick too).....she finally went to bed at 5am when I got up to go walking.....and no, I didn't go...I stayed home to take care of Ella. Now we were just crossing our fingers that she wouldn't throw up again...........Crystal, I'm sorry if Ella exposed Alexis to anything! We're thinking maybe she wasn't used to regular food...at least we're hoping!

I sure it was just a busy day for her! Alexis has been fine, crabby but no throwing up.
