Before we could head out to Great Wolf on Saturday, we attended the funeral for Tom Manning. He is Rod's (our brother-in-law)dad. It was a lovely service, both Rod & his brother did a great job.
Before the service started, our boys were sitting with Jared. We noticed Zach putting his arm around Jared, talking to him about the beautiful flowers & great pictures of his grandpa. Jared was crying & Zach was consoling him. Watching Jared put his head on Zach's shoulder & Zach just hold onto him was truly special. It was one of those things that you try to teach your kids, but just cross your fingers & hope they do. Zach is such a compassionate person. We love you sweetheart! Thanks for being there for Jared!
