Return to Great Wolf

This weekend we headed to Great Wolf - to celebrate Braeden's birthday (only 4 months late)!!! We had planned to go in January, when Brae turned 7 - the trade off for not having a friend party. Problem was that month we heard Ty's work may have to have layoffs, so we held off....now that we're in full baseball season, trying to find 2 days when we didn't have baseball, WASL, or some other commitment was really tough!

So even though Zach's birthday was only 5 days away, & Connor's 10 days away, we celebrated BRAEDEN!!!! The original plan was for the Kucera family to join us again, but when Kyle & Cyndi couldn't make it, we brought Caleb & Casey anyway. On our 2nd day there, Caleb turned 10! It was fun to have them with us, but we sure missed the rest of their family!

We had a blast - the blue tube hadn't opened yet when we went last year, so it was fun to have that new ride this year! Connor affectionately named it the "Chocolate Chip Cookie" ride.....

Ella LOVED the water, splashing, & hanging out.....she was such a trooper! Our room was huge - with a seperate master bedroom with a king size log-poster bed! The main room had a huge kitchenette, 2 queen beds & a sitting room with a sofa sleeper - plenty of room for the kids to run around & have fun! With plenty of snacks, we were all set! We had dinner at the Loose Moose Cottage - buffet, where Brae & Caleb were sung to for their birthdays. After dinner, we closed down the water park & goofed off the rest of the night in our suite.

Day 2 was all day in the waterpark.....we left exhausted, had a blast, and the kids are already asking when we can go again! Thanks for a great weekend everyone!

I like the blue slide better then the tornado! We almost flew out a few times! Looking at your pictures I just can't believe how many more people are there on the weekend. Happy they had so much fun!

We have yet to go, but it sounds so fun! I think we will check it out, maybe over Christmas break?
