Last Tuesday, Brae & Zach's school held a writing celebration........all of the students had worked so hard on their writing, & it was their opportunity to share it with their classmates & parents.... Brae shared about his spring break, & a few of his weekend news entries......he did such a great job! He has come such a LONG way in his reading, speech, and even his handwriting!
Zach's class is working on different styles of poetry. I remember doing this in middle school. I know I've said it before - but our kids are so ahead of what we did when we were in school - years ahead! I'm grateful for their teachers & all they do for our children!
This was the poem Zach chose to share........ after the group presentation, we parents got to sit with their table groups & hear more of their poetry - for some reason, food was a reoccuring theme for Zach......but he did great too!
On my way out of school, this gorgeos piece of art was on display in the office.........
Our school is having an art auction later this month, & each class had to create a group project.........this was Zach's class...........each student had to make a section with oil pastels....Zach's square is 2 accross & 2 down....... we hear this will go for over $500!!!
