Now THIS is More Like It!!!

Today the REAL snow hit, & kept coming, & coming, & still hasn't stopped! We've been outside ALL day, only stopping for lunch! The boys built a snow fort, readying themselves for a snowball fight, they built jumps for their sleds, and just played hard! They will sleep sooo good tonight! Ella wasn't too sure about the snow when it was falling, but didn't mind it under her feet, stomping around. She was in her "monster" mood, so refused to wear gloves.
By the time we got outside, I was already sweating from getting all 8 kids in snowgear, that it was I fight I just wasn't going to even deal with. She was fine, & actually realized she could catch snowflakes on her tongue! It was a blast, I'm sure we'll be out again tonight when Ty gets home. The boys even went down to the big hill with Woodworths, getting a fun ride their in their truck with all the kids from the street.
Ella not liking the snow falling from the sky!
Catching snowflakes on her tongue!
Braeden & Jake beginning the building of their fort.
Ella's FIRST RIDE on a SLED with big brother Zach.
Connor flying down our hill.
Not sure why Sam thought the rocks in his yard needed cleaning, but he's sweeping all the same!
The building of the jump.
These two are what I like to call "Double Trouble" - they watched their siblings tow eachother around, so why couldn't they do it too? :>)
Connor on my runner sled from my childhood (it was my Dad's too when he was a kid & he's given it to the boys - we have so much fun with them every year it snows, thanks Dad for helping us carry on the tradition!)
Ella found something easier to ride (at least she thought so...she quickly crashed off the jump her brother built).
Zach & Brae
The "RIDE".
