Today we ventured out to Church, even though everyone on our street was playing in the snow!!! Our kids are such troopers....we made it, even stopping to pick up a ward member who's car doors were frozen shut - so he was walking!! (My hubby is awesome!) Then when we got home, we had our home teachers coming, then the missionaries came for dinner....so the boys had not had a chance to even experience the snow. Now I know some of you must be thinking......it's Sunday.....yes, while we don't usually let our kids play outside with neighbors on Sunday's....we live in WA....so snow doesn't stick around here more than once or twice a year usually....so we tend to make an exception, short of skipping Church. Then we always go out as a family to freeze together! Our poor kids, we didn't get outside till after dark! It was FREEZING!! It was 18 degrees F! Ella liked stomping around in it, but refused to wear her mittens (shocker).
